It's a shame that the first reports look like this. I wish it could have come from a competent installer so we'd actually have a good idea what we're in for. Nice pics and reports though... sounds like they've got a lot of work ahead of themselves.

MTRS: The owner estimates 230-240 at the wheels with his i/h/e and AEM Pulleys on AC and PS. Sounds reasonable.
Zip: It's not a rebadged BTC. It intercepts the MAP and TPS signals to the ECU in addition to the BTC funtions. I assume it does the equivalent of the TPS/Relay trick. Also, there's no IAT/Relay trick, so I think the JR "Prelude EMS" does that by manipulating the MAP signal.
baked: It's just an electrical situation (which looks like a fried JR EMS) and a mystery vacuum line (from a ready-shoot-aim owner). Everything mechanical is fine. We didn't pretty up the pictures any. It's in work mode. (BTW: I didn't do this install. This is the first I've seen of it.) My friend will get it working. He works at a Honda garage (I'm not sure doing what). The guys there told him to bring it on in if he needs to. They want to work on it!
96IntegraLS: It's not as bad as it looks. The alternator is in front and above the engine, so that's easy work. Plus, you don't have to remove the intake manifold or hang the blower off the bottom of something.
However, once something is installed under the blower, it looks like a bitch to get at again.

The Prelude kit uses the M62 blower. It is a complex install. Much more entailed than the GSR kit. JR dynoed it awhile back at 235 to the wheels which means that everybody else should get around 220HP.

Hehe... Jackson dynos at 235 so the rest of the world should expect to make approximately 10 hp less than stock.
Funny that the owner "estimates" 230-240 hp when the car doesn't even run right. Sounds like he's believing the hype before the car even works.

sup guys, i have a question here. the JRSC kit comes w/ a new intake manifold which will replace the stock one, so will the prelude lose its vtec ? cuz i heard from my local dealer that once the JRSC installed, u will lose the vtec and u won't have vtec sound at high rpm....i dunno if this is true or not...
